Charlotte Hatchett and James Wyatt comprise the acoustic duo Charlotte Hatchett.

Charlotte, 19, is a classically trained singer (to grade 7 with Patricia ONeil) and has extensive musical theatrical experience. Accompanied on acoustic guitar by James Wyatt, 37, their repertoire of laid-back contemporary pop and rock is suitable for a wide range of occasions.

Charlotte Hatchett' have played together as a duo for two years, chiefly small local venues including pubs, restaurants and hotels. They have also been well received in local music festivals and been commissioned to play several private events from wedding parties to ball's from this exposure. Feedback pretty unanimously describes them as an appealing blend of bright female leads vocals and warm acoustic guitar, combining Charlottes youthful vivacity with James long experience.

Charlotte has had considerable success in talent competitions over the past five years, winning the Sun newspaper Vote for me video competition in 2008; she also won Carmarthenshire Pop Idol the same year. As a duo, they reached the grand finale of Bridgends Got Talent 2010 placing third with an emotional performance of Feeling Good.

James has played acoustic guitar for over twenty years, developing a distinctive laid back rhythm style suitable for all kinds of music. He has been part of several bands, playing rhythm and backing singing, and worked successfully as an accompanist for another female vocalist for three years before teaming up with Charlotte.
