The harp is the perfect instrument to enhance a variety of special events. Almost any occasion, from an intimate wedding or baby naming ceremony to a larger scale corporate dinner, can be lifted by adding the enchanting music of the harp.

Meredith studied with the much renowned Sanchia Pielou, graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a BA in Music Performance and was immediately invited to join the orchestra of the Scottish Ballet as principal harpist in 1985. She enjoyed combining this current role with that of principal harpist with the BBC SSO for many years before recently making her new home in Worcestershire.

As well as her orchestral interests, Meredith is also passionate about the more personal field of weddings and special occasions. To see the bride and groom's faces light up when they hear their chosen song is truly inspirational. With ever-increasing interest in the harp as an accompaniment to events ranging from cocktail parties and product launches to awards ceremonies and dinners, Meredith enjoys writing her own arrangements of music to give an individual quality to her clients' event.

The harp is becoming an increasingly popular choice of Asian couples. Gentle ballads can sound wonderful on the harp and it will add a delightful and different dimension to a ceremony.

It may be that the couple prefers to welcome their guests with harp music as they arrive for the reception. In this case the harp would be the perfect choice of background music whilst guests filter through to congregate for their meal.

As a preferred supplier at many venues including Hagley Hall, The Pear Tree Inn and Country Hotel, Compton Verney and Ettington Chase, Meredith enjoys entertaining guests in a variety of settings.
